Two Stunning & Beautiful layouts - July Wayfarer kit

Hello!
I'm a modern girl with a big vintage heart and as I saw this wonderful old photo from a sheltie I thought this must be a new 'altered' layout.

you can find again this amazing layered die cut embellishments from 49 and Market, dragonflies and leaves the right elements for very natural theme like adventures in forest and meadows.

I also used some old book page leftovers, torned paper stripes, emphera and stickers pieces from Prima Marketing
and two printed chipboards from our July 'Wayfarer' Main Kit.

The flowers from 49 and Market are always a highlight,
they look very lively and natural for me.

I love it to use die cuts to add dimension, here I tried the burlap fabric (from Main Kit) with some 'Star' cutting dies, it works very good

I combine plastic and paper leaves
and suitable to my vintage look I colored the layer embellishments
with a little bit metal acrylic paint
'Copper'

Friday is a nice day, because weekend is comming. Enjoy nature, stroll along the water, walk through the forest with our dog, that's relaxation pure for me. The new background paper from Blue Fern Studios from the Main Kit was the perfect frame for my nature photo.

I worked with a spiderweb stencil, some fern leaves chipboards, ephemera pieces from Prima Marketing, the new layered die-cut embellishments from 49 and Market, all elements are very suitable for a forest layout with nature feeling.

Gorgeous mixed media layouts - July Country Chic Kit

Hello, everyone!
Sandi here with you today sharing another project with the super gorgeous July Scraps of Elegance Kit, Country Chic.
This Kit featuring 49 and Market paper and embellishments along with the lovely KaiserCraft Lilac Whisper papers and so much more!

These are my sweet granddaughters Zoe and Clara who currently are residing in Costa Rica. However, I didn't let their current tropical location deter me from using this cute photo for a Cottage Life theme!  For my background paper I actually used the packing from the Cottage Life papers and primed it with clear gesso, then watered down white gesso to reduce the shiny appearance and prep it for any mixed media.
In the end, all I actually did was stamping (Blue Fern Studios Country Garden stamp from the Elements add-on and a few from my stash) and some splattering with the Lindy's Stamp Gang mist from the Color add-on as well as some sponging with white gesso. My fear was that molding paste might cause the packaging outer layer to separate from the cardboard. As a second paper layer I used the back of the Cut Outs sheet (blue) to add some contrast.
Because I had a second sheet of the same, I fussy cut some elements to tuck here and there. Along with that, I used the 49 and Market 3D embellishments found in the Elements add-on. Of course, the Blue Fern Studios Picket Fence chipboard (Main Kit) was a perfect accompaniment as were a few florals from the Floral add-on. The sweet sunflower embellishments are popped out from the Papermania Country Life Decoupage sheets. Using the cute mini clothespin and the Craft Consortium linen ribbon was a given! These last three are all Main Kit items.

Here are some fun close-ups for you!

I am here to share my third project created with the July Scraps of Elegance Country Chic Main Kit and add-ons. This month's featured papers are 49 and Market's Cottage Life as well as KaiserCrafts's Lilac Whisper.

This Kit is also full of wonderful embellishments to create lots of great crafty projects! Look at all that scrappy goodness!

"Sweet"

If you're like me, you have lots of graduation and "other occasion" photos to scrap. Above are happy granddaughters MacKayla and MacKenzie. I decided to mix paper collections on this one and have used the Kaiser Craft Lilac Whisper White Wood (Main Kit) along with the 49 and Market Garland paper from the Coordinating Paper add-on. For photo layers I've used the striped back side of the Garland paper, some notes from the Cut Outs paper (Main Kit) and the fussy cut door image from the Bicycle Alley paper (Coordinating Paper add-on.)  I also tucked in a sweet Papermania Notelets  doily from the Main Kit.
The background was treated with clear gesso, stenciling, mists and paints from my stash. The paper has so much detail, one doesn't really need to do much. My large florals are from the Floral add-on and were misted for a better match to  this particular paper.

Here you can see a few fun items that were tucked here and there: the Craft Consortium linen ribbon which I frayed for a shabbier look, some leaves and butterfly from the Cottage Life Layered Embellishments found in the Elements add-on as well as the metal Scrapberry's Heart taken from the same add-on.

The Sold Out Creativity add-on included some Prima Paper Clay and molds! I was excited to give these a try and was surprised how easy they are to use. I used a leaf mold found in the Martha Stewart package, which was one of 3 mold sets included in the add-on. I simply colored it with ink and mists as well as a few dabs of white gesso. These would be fab used with waxes! Also check out the sweet decorative stick pin included in the Main Kit.

Here are a couple of dimensional photos for you. (The chipboard title is from my collection.)

This was a bit of a floral overload for me but I thought it went well with the theme of the paper!

Here are those wonderful add-ons used on my project:

Co-ordinating paper add-on

Beautiful Shabby Chic layouts - July Country Chic Kit

Good morning! Tracy Funk here....

"Goggles"

For this layout of my niece, I used the Kaisercraft Lilac Whisper papers from the Scraps of Elegance July kit, "Country Chic".  I used the Main Kit , Coordinating Paper Add-on and the Floral Add-on.

Main Kit

Coordinating Paper Add-on

Floral Add-on

I started with the Kaisercraft Whisper Neutral paper from the Main Kit and ripped off the top and bottom, then layered it over strips of the Mist paper.  I used the rest of the Mist paper to die-cut a large decorative circle and the Hydrangea paper from the Coordinating Paper Add-on to cut some small doilies.  I tucked some notecards from the Main Kit under either side of the large circle and matted the photo with the gingham paper that was also included in the Main Kit.

The large white doilies and the teal rectangles framing the photo were cut from cardstock from my stash. As I usually do, I layered each die-cut over a dark cardstock copy and offset them slightly to accentuate the edges.  I inked around the edges of most of the die-cuts and papers with Aquamarine chalk ink.
The chipboard pieces were from my stash.  I painted the border pieces teal and while the paint was still wet, lightly dabbed in some white paint to make the colour look less flat.  For the leaf flourishes, I embossed them with Ranger Antiquities Verdigris embossing powder and applied a bit of Aquamarine chalk ink.

The larger flowers were from my stash.  The medium and small roses and the small white flowers were from the Main Kit and Floral Add-on.

Here is my 5th project using the beautiful Scraps of Elegance July Kit, Country Chic, featuring 49 and Market Cottage Life paper.

Main Kit

Patterned Paper Add-on

Elements Add-on

I started with the Branching Out paper included in the Main Kit.  I did some punching around the edges and some random stamping using Cobalt Archival Ink.  I also did some inking around the edges of the paper and over the stamped areas with the cobalt ink using a Clarity stencil brush.

This page was layered over the Fresh Delivery paper (in the Main Kit) to show through the punched areas. The center of the Fresh Delivery paper was cut out to make a circular mat for the photo.
I then made some die-cuts using another piece of the Branching Out paper from the Patterned Paper Add-on and the Provence paper from the Main Kit.  These were layered over a black cardstock version and offset slightly to accentuate the edges.

The flowers and butterflies were all from the Elements Add-on and Floral Add-on.

The metal filigree piece was from the Main Kit.

The other trinkets, button and chipboard flourishes were from my stash. I embossed the chipboard pieces with the Lindy's Stamp Gang Pop Rock Purple embossing powder included in the Main Kit.

Thank you so much for taking a look today!

Two Gorgeous Shabby Chic layouts - July Country Chic kit

Nicole here today with another creation
I made with the Scraps of Elegance July 'Country Chic' kit!

For this page, I opted for a beautiful purple/lilac background
with some aqua green peeking through some torn layers.
I absolutely adore how these 2 papers look together,
one 49 and Market 'Cottage Life' and the other Kaisercraft ' Lilac Whisper'.

I used a few pieces from the Papermania Die Cut Notes set,
as it matched very well with these papers.  I added a couple metal charms and of course, lots of flowers from the Main kit and the Floral Add-On as well as some Layered Embellishments.

I sprayed some white mist on my background and flowers.

The picture is of the impressive Chateau Frontenac in Quebec city, Canada.

I am thrilled to be back with you today to share another creation
featured with the Scraps of Elegance July 'Country Chic' kit.

I created the background of this layout by cutting 2 of the Kaisercraft papers diagonallyand merging them together. I added some stamped design using the Blue Fern Studios
set included in the Elements Add-On and some purple and aqua Lindy's sprays.

I cut off the scalloped borders off some of the Papermania die-cuts
and used the teal colored circles as framing for my flower clusters.

49 and Market Layered Embellishments, fussy cut paper flowers,
embossed stamp daisies as well as lots of flowers and roses from
both the main kit and the Floral add-on make up these flower clusters.

I thought that a grey-scale photo would look great in the midst
of all these beautiful pastel colours.
