Simply Shabby Chic

We're bringing you some gorgeous, brand new Prima, some oh-so-shabby Fabscraps, and lots of other sweet goodies in this kit.  If you'd like to see the full list of kit "ingredients" and our coordinating add ons, stop by our website or our store!  We have just a few left, so you won't want to miss out...

Along with the new kit, we have a new sketch, and a new sketch challenge.  Suepup has created this beautiful sketch to inspire you, and our September sketch challenge will be based on this sketch - the only rules to the challenge are to use the sketch, and have your layout submitted in time (don't worry, you have a whole month to complete it!).  And as always with our challenges, you don't have to use our kits to enter, you can use items from your own stash.  Here's the link to enter!  Simply Shabby Chic Sketch Challenge.  And here's the fabulous sketch for this month:

Romy Veul

My name is Romy Veul and I'm a 19-year-old scrapaholic from the Netherlands.  I live in a small village close to Amsterdam with my parents and two little brothers,  I study Dutch languages with a second major in linguistics in Amsterdam.  At the moment, I am in my second year and my dream is to work as a writer or reporter someday.  Besides my passion for languages and writing, I also have a huge obsession for scrapbooking.  It all started almost seven years ago.  When my school celebrated its 45th anniversary we got to choose from a couple of creative workshops.  I decided to attend a workshop scrapbooking and was hooked immediately!  Seven years later scrapbooking has become a big part of my life.  Scrapbooking is a wonderful creative outlet for me and a perfect way to relax after a long day at University.

I love creating both lay-outs and cards and I sometimes also venture upon an altered item.  I like to try different styles, though I tend to love the shabby chic/vintage style the most lately.  No matter what style I try, I almost always incorporate lots of layers and details in my work.  I think they are kind of my signature.  I am currently proudly designing for Bo Bunny, Once Upon a Sketch, and a Dutch magazine.

Hi I'm Jodii from Canberra, Australia, a wife to my gorgeous husband Darron and a mother to two beautiful children, Paris and Louis.

Ive been arty and crafty ever since I can remember, and have tried just about every craft that exists, but when I started scrapbooking a few years ago it just stuck and I always go back to it, even if I break from it for a few months. I love it! 

I love to create and I absolutely love colour, which I think is the most important to me when I'm scrapping.

I'm totally addicted to all the pretty things scrapbooking has to offer. 

I feel honoured to be a guest designer for Scraps of Elegance and see it as a real privilege to be designing for them.
