A touch of gold from Nicole and SOE!

Good morning!

Christmas sometimes shimmers and shines and is sometimes a bit more rustic!

Nicole combines both in this stunning layout using the Scraps Of Elegance 'Christmas Cheer' kit 

 The image inspired her to use lots of metallic and sparkly colours on her chipboard to go along with the pretty gold and copper flowers available through the Scraps of Elegance Floral Add-On kit.

Laura's pink Christmas

Good morning!

The pink Bo Bunny papers in the Scraps Of Darkness 'Snow Angels' kit was perfect for this wonderful photo of my oldest granddaughter!

I began by  layering and distressing my papers.

I made a cluster of flowers using the flowers from the main kit and floral add on as well as some from previous kits!

The poinsettias started as gold but they did not match my layout so I covered them with white gesso and then misted them with Lindys mists from a previous kit.  I also wanted to add some sparkle and shine so I added some very fine glitter from my stash and the wonderful pink gems from the kit.

 

I cut the title from one of the Bo Bunny papers and added a few gems

When you have many photos of an event that you want to scrap a mini album is an awesome way to scrap them!

Annie created this amazing holiday album using the 'Christmas Cheer' kit!

 This album is 4x4 and she used different papers in the kit along with die cuts and ATC's.

Isn`t this a beautiful way to immortalize your Christmas memories!

Yes, we've got a wonderful new tutorial to share today... If you follow Anna Rogalska's work, you know she creates gorgeous shabby chic mixed media tags, and today we're sharing a tutorial she did for two holiday tags she created with our November kit:

Tatiana celebrates winter and Nicole celebrates Christmas with SOD/SOE!

Good morning!

The Scraps Of Elegance and Scraps Of Darkness kits will help you commemorate your winter celebrations!

Tatiana celebrates winter and all things shiny using the Scraps Of Darkness 'Snow Angels' kit

  

She used a lot of different golden shades for it.

She also used different glitter, glitter gel and sequins.

Nicole did some fabulous techniques on her Christmas layout, using the Scraps Of Elegance 'Christmas Cheer' kit!

The 'Christmas Cheer' kit comes with a beautiful Fabscraps holiday stencil, which she used to trace some holly on her background, then colored it in and stitched the contours.
