18 Inspiring Halloween layouts and scrapbook projects

Tomorrow's the big day, and I was just thinking about the fun I've had putting together our Halloween kits over the last 6 years.  I was thinking it would be fun to do a post sharing those six kits, and some of the amazing projects the ladies our design team have created with them - a little inspiration for you, for all those spooky photos you are going to want to scrap after tomorrow!

To start, our newest Halloween kit - the October 2016 'Haunted' Kit:
I'm not posting any projects with this kit yet - Laura's got plans for them! I think you might see one or two gorgeous projects tomorrow, ;)

And then there was our Oct. 2015 kit, Danse Macabre:

And from this kit, 3 of my favorites from the projects our DT created:

Shabby Chic with Renea and Tracey

Good morning!
Today I am bringing you a couple of gorgeous shabby chic projects from Renea and Tracey.

First up is Renea with this amazing layout
using the Scraps Of Elegance November kit

She started with a base layer of kit paper, then took a second layer and did some distressing and tearing, then inked the edges heavily. Then took some of the same ink and shaded in the area around the photo and the upper corner. Next, she did some stenciling with a past kit stencil and texture paste, misted some Corrugated Board, added some distressed and inked kit paper and then her photo. She tucked in a Prima Metal Clock Face from her stash, and one of the Prima Metals from the Embellishment Add On that she went over with some gesso.

She added the large Burlap flower from the kit and some past kit flowers and twine and more to form a flower layer at the bottom of the photo corner,
and the Sweet Chipboard piece is a Blue Fern piece from a past kit that she painted with gesso and then inked.

she also tucked in lace under her torn layers!

Next  we have this beautiful layout from
Tracey Gregory using the Scraps Of Darkness November kit

Tracey added many layers of papers and embellishments to create a
charming and delightful layout

here are her wonderful details

Works Of Art Mixed Media and Shabby Chic Tags

Hello everyone!
Today I want to share a couple of stunning tag projects

Lisa Novogrodski created two sensational tags using our Scraps Of Darkness kit 'Amy's Amazing Autumn'. She started with the BoBunny Enchanted Harvest paper, then used some crackle paste in the background, thinking it would add an old world feel to the tag. Once it dried she painted over it with the Cinnamon Brown Silks Acrylic Glaze found in the Color Add On.

She also used some Gold Lumiere Paint and the splatters in the background were created with Lumiere in Pearl Emerald found in our Creativity Add On

The BoBunny chipboard butterfly is found in the Elements Add On

She used a hand-dyed seam binding bow and sewed on the key. These are Prima Metal Patina Trinkets found in the Elements Add On.

The florals are Prima Timeless Memories Retrospect, Marion Smith Time Keeper, and Petaloo Botanica Fall Leaves found in the Floral Add On.

The back of the tag is stained with Distress Inks. We received the Ground Expresso in the Color Add On  and Forest Moss in the Main Kit.

Lisa used the same techniques on this tag.

More florals and she mixed in some Hemp Cord found in the Main Kit. We received a pack of Crafters Hemp Cord in Harvest. She unraveled it and then tucked it in between the flowers.

She also used some florals from previous kits.

Next I am going to share a wonderful shabby chic pocket journal with tags, created by Renea, using the Scraps Of Elegance kit 'Tracey's Country Kitchen'.

Renea formed a 6x9 tall pocket using the kit papers then began layering more kit papers, fussy cut elements and the BoBunny Provence journaling cards that are in the main kit.

She created a super cute bow using the twine from the kit and added a BoBunny brad, also from the main kit.

She used the Petaloo sunflower from the main kit
and some flowers from previous kits.

She fussy cut the word 'cozy' from the one of the kit papers.

Here are all the wonderful tags that were tucked in.

Renea's Country Chic November project!

Good morning!
Today is our oldest sons birthday!  Were does the time go?  It seems like just yesterday he was learning to walk and now he is 15.  Wow time flies.

I thought I would share a gorgeous layout from Renea using the November Scraps Of Elegance kit, Tracey's Country Kitchen.

She started with the BoBunny Provence French Quarter paper from the kit, then cut down another layer and distressed the edges, then randomly punched some places.

She then took the BoBunny Copper Metallic Rub Ons from this month's Elements Add On, and added them to the layout.

She did some "ghost" stenciling with a Prima Damask stencil and Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink

She frayed some burlap to use under paper layers and the photo, inking and distressing the layers with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink to get a time-worn look.

She layered a piece that she fussy cut from the kit, BoBunny Journaling cards adding one of the BoBunny Brads from the kit to the top.

She then fussy cut out a large clock piece from the kit papers and added that to the side. At the bottom of the photo, she added one of the gorgeous Prima Metal pieces from this month's Elements Add On.
The handcrafted butterflies are her Oh So Butterlicious Butterflies and were created to go with this month's kit and a set of 2 are included in the kit.

she created flower layers using the Petaloo Burlap Sunflowers from the main kit, Petaloo Rose Flowers from this month's Floral Add On, some past kit Tilda Roses and then tucked in some leaves and burlap string bows.
