Mixed Media Monday - Lisa Griffith

Hello crafty girls, it's time for me to share my very first layout with the Scraps of Elegance kit 'A Song of Spring'.

'The Beauty of Nature is All Around'

I was so excited to open the box full of this month's kit, it's chock full of 49 & Market papers and flowers and when I saw this paper I knew I wanted to do something with a nature theme.

I traced some of the leaves in the background with Prima watercolor pencils to add someinterest to the background and bring out the colors. I also spread some heavy whitegesso and then used some inks and added some stamping. I layered on some pieces 

of paper that I fussy cut and then some flowers from the Floral Add-On. I also cut out the title from the bottom strip of this same paper and added it down the side.

I also used some of the 7 Gypsies borders, and a little Prima
