Good morning!
Today I have some wonderful inspiration to share....
First up is Kathy, with this delightful layout, using the Scraps Of Darkness 'Danse Macabré' kit
She started by layering the background papers, all from the kit. She distressed the edges, then used some
modeling paste and a stencil.
Once the paste was dry she applied
the Faber-Castell Gelatos "Gold Champagne" included in an older kit, sprayed some water on the Gelatos and rubbed it around with her
fingers to get a nice shimmer and color. Next, she applied Prima's Color
Bloom "Gilded" which is a light tangerine color and blended it with the
gold. After she dried it she applied
some splatters in the same paints, and mixed some water with the Gelatos
on her mat to get little gold splats, then did some stamping around the layout.
There
is some beautiful Pewter Crochet Ribbon by May Arts included in the Elements Add On
that she glued to the left side of the layout. She created the black "filigree"
frame using some black doilies.
She created the mat for the photo by using the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities Journaling and Ephemera Cards that are included in the Elements Add On.
She applied gesso and hand painted the chipboard with the new Blue Fern Studios Imagine Ink in "Leaf" from our store, then applied Ranger's Distress Crackle Paint in "Clear Rock Candy" to get a little texture on the leaves.

There are some beautiful
velvet hydrangea flowers from Petaloo in the Floral Add On that she sprinkled around the chipboard and on the corners of the
frame.
There is also an adorable tag that she used in the far top corner of the photo mat. It came from the Rare Oddities chipboard from Graphic 45 that is included in the main kit.
