Good morning everyone!
The sun is shining bright here and we are enjoying the spring!
Today I wanted to share a few layouts from a couple of our really talented Scraps Of Elegance Design Team members - Lisa Griffith and Lynne Joncas
First up is Lisa with a stunning and dreamy layout which was inspired by this month's Inspiration Board Challenge that you can find on our facebook community.
here are a few of the scrumptious details
She used the Blue Fern Studios chipboard piece called 'Kimmy's Window'
that came with the kit as the perfect backdrop to the photo of a girl
reading by a window, then took the gorgeous peach colored Prima flower
apart and used the different pieces underneath the photo.
The 'No 3' paper from 7 Dots Studio was the perfect base for her cream
colored flowers. The cotton lace that came with the kit, is one of
her favorite embellishments to add to a page. She tucked in one of the
metal pieces and then finished it all with a 7 Dots Studio sticker.
Some of the best adventures ever are the ones found in books :)
This key was from a past Scraps of Elegance kit.
Now it is Lynne's turn!
This heritage page features her grandmother's cousin in 1918; She
enjoyed making flowers with the paper so that they'd coordinate
perfectly, and the subtle diamond pattern in the background paper just
begged to be echoed throughout the design.
I love all the use of texture in this layout!
These colors lent themselves to a nature-themed photo; her daughter is
crouched above the falls in the photo but can't really be seen here. She
used the Blue Fern chipboard frame that was included in the Elements add on, and the flowers
are from a previous Scraps of Elegance kit.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
These are super. Lisa - yours is so elegant and luscious - just like the precious picture. And Lynne - just love the shabby chic look... just seems to enhance your grandmothers photo. Thanks so much. j
