Multi photo winter layout with Kathy

Good Morning!

A single photo layout is wonderful but sometimes you need a few more photos to tell your story.

By using different sizes of photos Kathy lets her main photo tell the story and the others support the main photo.

Kathy used the Scraps Of Darkness Wilma's Winter Wishes Kit

to create this layout.

She started using the BoBunny collection “White Out” which was included in the Coordinating Paper Add On for her background paper.  She gessoed around the background where her photo mats would be placed then used a stencil from last year’s kit featuring snowflakes and used modeling paste to get the design.  She splattered a lot of watered down gesso to get a really snowy look. Then used gold pigment ink to stamp snowflakes around the center element.   

She built mats for all the photos using various layers from papers in the kit then created several flower and berry clusters.  She die cut several sprigs from a printed paper in her stash. She used gesso around the larger blue flowers.  The dark blue Petaloo Velvet Hydrangea petals were included in the Floral Add for December’s kit and are currently available in our store. 

She used the Bo Bunny chipboard snowflakes from the Main Kit in various places, covered them with gesso first, then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.
