Scraps of Elegance 3rd year anniversary kit and an off the page tutorial!

That's right, it's February 1st, and that means not only a new kit, it means it's our 3rd Anniversary Kit! (our first Scraps of Elegance kit debuted on February 1, 2012).  And even better, a little further down in this post, you will find a video tutorial by Lisa Novogrodski (and by the way, our new kit is NAMED in honor of Lisa!).  Lisa will show you how to make a gorgeous, romantic mixed media mini album from scratch!

On to the kit premiere!

As we mentioned last month, each of our designers will have a kit named after them this year, and this month, we're honoring our Design Team Coordinator, Lisa Novogrodski!  A few of Lisa's favorite things:  the color red, Blue Fern Studios paper and chipboard, and anything mixed media - so we've got them all in this month's kit and add ons!  Our February kit features Blue Fern's BRAND NEW Love Story collection, Marion Smith Designs' Romance Novel 2 collection, and Prima's Epiphany collection, plus so much more, all perfect for creating those romantic Valentine's Day projects!

These are the patterned papers you will find in the kit, and the are also available to purchase alone, in our Patterned Paper Add On:

And I'll share just one more of this month's available add ons before we get to the tutorial.  This is our Creativity Add On, and it always features fun mixed media items - use it alone, or pair it with our Main Kit and other add ons, and Create Something Beautiful!

If you'd like to see more and/or purchases these and our other Lisa's Love Letters kit add ons, please stop by the Scraps of Elegance Kits section of our store.

Ok, and now on to the good stuff, a new tutorial!

This is the mini album Lisa created - she shows you how to make this from scratch - not a purchased mini album that you just decorate, but one you can make yourself!

And here's the tutorial:

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you are finding time to Create Something Beautiful this weekend!
