Our April Guest Designer!

I am so excited and happy to announce our April Guest Designer, I am a fan of her work, and can't wait to see what she does with our April Kit!

Aida Domisiewicz

Hi everyone! My name is Aida Domisiewicz, I use a nickname Ayeeda. I live in a beautiful city of Wroclaw, Poland. I’ve just turned 40. I am married and I have two wonderful sons - 9 and 4 years old.

I think I've always had an artistic soul, but I really discovered my craft skills taking ceramics classes. Many years ago, we lived for two years in Perth, Australia and my husband worked a lot. I felt a bit lonely, trying to find something interesting to do. Classes were wonderful, opened my creative mind. Back in Poland I still enjoyed making ceramics, then I started to make home decorations, interior design, and finally I discovered scrapbooking and mixed media.

I create layouts mostly with lots and lots of media. But sometimes I create cards, tags and other project. I really enjoy creating process, closing memories on paper, but often I just let my emotions go on a paper – it helps :) For me each page is a separate, complete story to tell.

My style is still changing and developing, I’m not closing myself to just one style, I always look for original effect on the page. My projects are recognizable though as quite messy and rich with media. I just love to create with modeling pastes, gesso, paints, inks and mists. I love to use stamps, stencils and unusual embellishments in my projects.
