October Blog Challenge

It's October!  Halloween is quickly approaching, and any of you that know me, know that I live for Halloween year 'round!

The October Challenge is a really simple one - show me your Halloween layout!  Now I know this is Scraps of Darkness, but for this challenge, I am letting up on the "dark" part!  I don't care what kind of Halloween layout you do - it can be cute (love seeing the little ones trick-or-treating!), or funny, or scary, or beautiful.  Do your Halloween layout any way you like.

Simply create a layout between today, October 5, 2010, and October 31, 2010 and upload it to your favorite scrapbooking gallery.  Mention in your description that it was done for the Scraps of Darkness October Blog Challenge, and please don't mention any other kit clubs in you description, as it's not fair to either kit club, and also make sure you are a follower here on the Scraps of Darkness Blog. Then leave a comment on this post with a link to your layout, and you will be entered into a random drawing to win our Simply Steampunk Main Kit, shown below.

Happy scrapping, and be sure to check back on October 15 for the reveal of our new kit!

This would be my first contest as a scrapper nationally. I have entered a few lo's locally but never here.
I am a little confused, though. Since I found your link on sb.com's web site is this where I uplaod and enter my lo? Or at scrapbook.com?
    Thanks again, tjhelser

  7. I'm trying the button, and it's working for me, so I am not sure what problem is occurring, but I will keep looking into it.
As for where to upload, scrapbook.com is fine, and then just leave a comment here with a link to it so I can check it out!
    Thanks!

  10. sorry to say this, but the error box has returned, just as I tried to sign your followers button. It is a box with the blue I icon in it and it's like it is not loading. Hope it helps. I really would like to add my name too~

  11. Tjhelser, what browser are you using? From what I understand, some browsers are having problems with the followers buttons...

  12. Today I was able to sign up (Tonij) on your followers button. I am using AOl, which should not have been a problem according to AOL anyway. No worries, it's up & running just fine this morning even for an AOL user. Must be those goblins, yes?

So this was not my intent coming here of course.
I'm trying to decide on what sketch/map to use for my Hallowween lo, I have the perfect photo in mnd of my gs. I'll get inspired and lift someone's sketch and get it done.

Still making a warm & soft place for thi amazing kit to fall into place in my home.
    Have a blissful Sunday ladies~

  37. Okay here is the thing. My other scrabook supplies are getting their panties in a bunch because I keep talking about making room for Simply Steampunk Kit. I try and explain that it's not Steampunk's fault that I just now am discovering Grapgic45 & the Steampunk line.
I have reminded my supplies that there were times I knew little about them too, but we found room, and have created beautiful art together.
So, my other supplies are waiting and hoping that they too can welcome this fabulous kit of supplies into our warm & cozy "scrapthird" We would so love to become accquainted in an intimate way. ~like making fabulous lo's together~
