Kathy's beautiful winter layout!

Good morning!

Winter is here and Kathy has created an amazing layout using the Scraps of Darkness 'Snow Angels' kit

The background paper comes from the Main Kit from Bo Bunny's "Winter Wishes" collection.  She used the Inka Gold "Cobalt Blue" (included in the Creativity Add On) and water and splattered around the page.  Next she used the irRESTible white colored texture spray, which comes in the Color Add On.  When it dries it is raised from the paper and gives it some cool snow texture effect. 

She cut a piece of cardboard to use as a base for all the photos and used Snow-Tex (incl in the Creativity Add On) around the edges to get a snowy effect.

She began to create flower and snowflake clusters around the layout using BoBunny diecuts included in the Main kit and the blue Petaloo flowers from the Floral Add On.  The white flowers are from a previous kit.  Some of the snowflakes she fussy cut from another BoBunny paper in the Main Kit.  She tucked in the little Petaloo snowflake picks included in the Elements Add On.  

The silver balls and twisties came from her stash.  She used the phrase stickers included in the BoBunny Winter Wishes sticker sheet that's included in the Elements Add On.

 

At the bottom of the photo above you can see the vellum phrase "Let It Snow" that she cut up from the Bo Bunny Vellum Sheet, which comes in the Elements kit.  She used the phrase 3 times to get the effect she wanted.

Lisa's stunning mixed media layout

Good morning!

Winter is coming to this area and Lisa created this amazing layout with our Oct. Petals kit, using nontraditional colors for a winter scene which makes the layout even more gorgeous!

She combined two Kaisercraft papers here Cottage Rose Weatherboards and Welcome) for her background and then layered on the gorgeous Blue Fern Studios chipboard (from the Elements Add On), lots of Prima Rossibelle flowers from the Floral Add On, and some 13 arts pink spray.

  She used a lot from the Main Kit, the Elements Add On, and the Floral Add On including, the Kaisercraft 'Cottage Rose' collection papers, Kaisercraft 'Cottage Rose' die cuts,Prima flowers, Prima Rossibelle Druzy Stones, the pretty white trim and the cool Tim Holtz distress crayon.
