Make It In Minutes - Matchbook Gift Card Holder

Make It In Minutes~
We are officially on for the countdown to Christmas!!
I know one of the most popular gifts to give and to receive are Gift Cards, but who wants to hand one over in one of those card board cards they come in or even more in one of those so un-FAB gift card holders.
I have come up with a quick, yet so FABulous way to give one~in a little holder that is shaped like a match book,  and yes you can Make It In Minutes!!
Give me 15 minutes with your Gift Card, the December Scraps Of Elegance Kit and Add Ons , and I can have you out the door with a wonderful present that anyone would love to get!

Step 1:
Take a patterned paper- I used the My Mind's Eye-Holly Paper from the kit
Cut it to 3 inches wide x 9 1/2 inches long

Step 2:
Score at 4 inches

Step 3:
Score at 4 1/2 inches

Step 4:
Score at 8 1/2 inches

Step 5:
Fold Along Score lines

You should have a little match book shaped  piece that looks like this one

Step 6:
Fussy Cut out the Bo Bunny piece seen from the Yuletide paper  in the Paper Add On

Step 7:
Turn sideways and attach to the front side of the match book, centered above the fold
I am attaching all my pieces with foam tape for dimension, but if you would like a flatter holder, please feel free to just glue the pieces.

Step 8:
Take one of the round Bo Bunny Combo Stickers from the Embellishment Add On and attach it to the center of the cut out piece.

Step 9:
Create a bow with long tails from the Cosmo Cricket Trim in the Embellishment Add On.
Attach to the top of the cut out piece then twist and attach the bow ends to frame the round piece.

Step 10:
Take one of the little glittered up buttons from the My Mind's Eye Chipboard Elements, tie some of the trim from the EAO through the holes and add it to the center of the bow.

Step 11:
Take the "To All A Good Night" sticker from the Bo Bunny Combo Stickers in the EAO, and attach to the bottom fold.

Step 12:
Add added a small piece of velcro tape to the fold and bottom of the outside to form a closure for the holder.

Step 13:
Cut a 3 inch wide x 1 1/2 inch tall piece from matching paper.
Add glue to the outside edges of the sides and bottom and attach leaving the top and middle without adhesive to form a pocket.

Step 14:
Add the December 25th, My Mind's Eye sticker from the kit, then add a Bo Bunny Trinket to that.

You are now ready to tuck your gift card inside the holder, and present your gift.

I just love Christmas time!! It really is my favorite time of the year, and I hope this little gift holder makes gift giving not only a little less stressful for you, but fun as well!!
Merry Christmas to you all! Hugs, ~Renea
