Make It In Minutes - Halloween Treat Bag

No time, but want to create something unique to hold some treats?? Try these little treat bags!! So fast~so fun~so fabulous! You can literally put them together in minutes. You can create them for Halloween, or change papers and embellishments and create something special for party favors, weddings, Holidays, and showers. They are only limited to your imagination and you can get as simple or as detailed as you want!!

I created this one, and kept it simple for this Make It In Minutes segment using papers and pieces from the kit, and some scrap trims.

Step One:
Take a 12 x 12 piece of heavy Scrapbook paper. I used some of the glittered paper from the kit.

Step Two:
Cut it at 4 inches, leaving you with a 4 x 12 strip.

Step Three:
Score at 4 inches.

Step Four:
Score at 6 inches.

Step Five:
Score at 10 inches

Step Six:
Fold at scores. You should have something that looks like this.

Step Seven:
Use a glue runner or double sided tape and run it down the edge of the top flap.

Step Eight:
If you used double sided tape, peel the backing, and....

Step Nine:
Press to seal.

Step Ten:

Using a one inch circle punch or if you do not have a punch, you can just cut with scissors, cut or punch a 1/2 circle into the middle of the top portion of the box.

It should look like this.

Step Eleven:
Fill a cellophane bag with candy, treats or small toys, twist the top of the bag.

Step Twelve:
Place Bag inside the box, and pull the cellophane twist through the punched hole.

Step Thirteen:
Decorate the front of the bag as desired. To keep it short and sweet, I fussy cut out one of the invitation pieces from the Teresa Collins paper in the kit, popped it on with foam tape, then popped on the "Spooky" from the Anna Griffin Cardstock Dies in the kit. I then tied some scrap tulle and scrap ribbon around the cellophane twist.

There you have it, a fun and Fabulous little treat bag that can be created in just a few minutes!!!

I hope you find time to create some of these little bags for one of your events!
Happy Halloween!!!
Hugs, ~Renea
