As a busy woman, who is constantly on the go, I can
sympathize with those of you who say," I just don't have enough time to
do all the things that I love! " But, I also know how important doing
something creative and for yourself is to your overall mental health. It
is so important that we take a few minutes here and there to do the
things that we love. That is why I am going to try to do a segment with
either the Scraps Of Darkness or the Scraps Of Elegance (both if time
permits) to show you how you can "Make It In Minutes." Please feel free
to lift this card in it's completion, to make it even less time
consuming.
I just love being able to give the ones that I love something that I have created with my own two hands, and this following project is a card that I created using the Scraps Of Darkness May Kit-Destinations, and just one other add on, the Flora & Fauna, so that it is also budget conscience. It is a glamor look card that is perfect for giving by itself or with any present, and for any occasion to one of those "Glamorous" women in your life.
Step One: Take the Carta Bella Well Traveled Paper in the kit, and cut it in 1/2. Then score it in 1/2 to form a 6 x 6 inch card.
Step Two: Take the Authentique Allure Paper in the kit cut out a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch square, distress the edges, and adhere to the center of the card.
Step Three: Take the Vintage Greta Garbo Image below, print it out onto photo paper (image size should be 3.75 x 3.75), distress the edges and add it at an angle to the center of the 2nd layer.

Step Four: Cut a 6 1/4 inch length of the gold kit trim, and adhere it below the photo.
Step Five: Take the Tim Holtz Remnant Rubons from the kit, and cut out the flourish rub on, then rub it onto either transparency, or onto one of the clear wrappers that one of the embellishments came in like I did, then fussy cut it out. Attatch with a small foam dot in the very corner of the florish.
Step Six: Layer the large black Petaloo Mixed Texture Flower from the Flora & Fauna Add On, over the foam dot, then for a dramatic pop of color layer one of the red, Prima Liberty Roses on top of the black flower.
