Make It In Minutes - Country Chic Card / Gift Card Holder

So you have a tween or teen birthday party to go to, and you need a quick card that has a place that you can tuck a gift card into, no worries! Here is a beautiful Country Chic Card with Gift Card Holder that you can literally put together in about 15 minutes. All you will need is:
A Scraps Of Elegance July Kit- Home Sweet Home & the Embellishment Add On
Scissors
Glue
Velcro
Foam Tape (Optional)

Step One:
Take the Bo Bunny Prairie Chic Calico paper from the kit (as you can see I had used some of it, and this card was a great way to use up the rest),

and cut it at the top at 6 inches, and then score that piece at 6 inches to create a 6 x 6 card.

Step Two:
Take the Bo Bunny Prairie Chic paper-Yard Sale, and litterally cut out the square with the bird on it, then heavily distress the edges with your scissors (optional). Adhere this piece to the top of your card.

Step Three:
Grab the Bo Bunny piece with the mason jars and wood grain on it from the kit and attach it to the side of the card. I attached mine with foam tape to give it that wonderful dimension that I love.

Step Four:

Next take the Bo Bunny scallped circle sticker from the embellisment  add on, off center it and attach. Again I attached this piece with foam tape.

Step Five:
Take the Bo Bunny Noteworthy piece with the boots on it from the kit, fussy cut out the boots.

Step Six:
Attach boots to bottom corner of scalloped circle.

Step Seven:
Cut off a small piece of cheesecloth from the length provided in the kit, fray the edges a bit, twist in the middle and attatch.

Step Eight:
See those sweet little Crochet Flower in the kit? Take one large and one small one, push a couple of those Bo Bunny Brads from the embellishment add on into the center, and attach them to the cheesecloth.

Step Nine:
Add a little more dimension by taking one of the handcrafted butterflies from the kit, and popping it onto the circle.

Step Ten:
In the Bo Bunny Noteworthy set from the kit, there are a couple of large envelopes, grab one and glue it and seal the edges to form the envelope, then take a small piece of  velcro stripping, and attatch one piece to the envelope and one piece to the card.

Here you can see how wonderful the removable envelope looks with the paper from the kit.

I just love how using this particular piece of kit paper gives you a finished designer look on the inside without a lot of work.

And here is how the backside looks, a finished look in a fraction of time!

There you have it!! A beautiful, Country Chic Card with Gift Holder that is ready in minutes, and because it was lovingly made with your own two hands~an instant smile maker!!
