Make It In Minutes - Country Kitchen Tag

Does your life look like this~busy, busy, busy? As a wife, mom, multiple business owner and avid paper crafter, I certainly know the feeling, so over in the Scraps Of Darkness/ Scraps Of Elegance Forums, I create a monthly "Make It In Minutes" segment that shows you how to make a project in 15 to 20 minutes, so that you can do what you love in a small time frame.

This month, I have a tag that was created with the Scraps Of Darkness August Kit - Rustic - and the Embellishment Add On for that kit. I love tags, they can be given as gifts, used to decorate a gift or your home, and if you were lucky enough to get the Creativity Kit for this kit, you can use it to add in to your Recipe Book.

Here is what the finished project will look like:

And here are the quick and easy steps to create it:

Step 1: Take the premade tag from the Embellishment Add On.

Step2:  Cut a 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 rectangle from the FarmHouse Alberta Paper in the kit and distress the edges.

Step 3: Adhere to front of tag.

Step 4: Cut out Diamond Shape Handmade Label from the FarmHouse Scotch Oatmeal paper in the kit.

Step 5: Adhere to center of rectangle.

Step 6: Cut out Round Cherry Toothpaste Label from the FarmHouse Scotch Oatmeal paper in the kit.

Step 7: Adhere to center of Diamond Shape.

Step 8: Take the red flower from the American Crafts Flowers in the kit.

Step 9: Pull off bottom layer of petals and pearl center.

Step 10: Adhere to bottom  left hand corner of rectangle layer.

Step 11: Take sweet little clothespin from the kit, and the "laugh" sticker  from the Authentique sticker sheet in the kit. Clamp sticker with clothespin.

Step 12: Adhere clothespin to the bottom right hand corner of the rectangle layer.

Step 13: Take ribbon trim from the kit and create a small bow.

Step 14: Adhere bow below the hang tag.

Step 15: Take the "Smile" tag and sticker from the Kit, Authentique Stickers, and the little metal bee brad fromt  the kit. Poke the brad through the bottom hole.

Step 16: Adhere tag with brad into the bow.

And there you have it, a wonderful country chic tag in minutes!!

Here's to lots of creating in what little time us busy women have!! Hugs, ~Renea
