Good morning!
It's Friday which means its time for some weekend inspiration to help get your creative juices flowing for your weekend scrapbooking!
I'm up first, with a non traditional School layout of our oldest using the Scraps Of Darkness 'Heirloom' kit
For this one I used the yummy 7Dots studio Lost and Found papers from the coordinating paper add on
The stars are from the store as well and are from Blue Fern.
I sprayed them with Lindy's Rusty Lantern Lime mist from a previous kit then added some of the Lindy's Stamp Gang Two-Toned Embossing Powder in Midnight Pewter Obsidian from the color add on,
I also wrapped some cord from a previous kit around parts of some of
the stars. I splattered the paper, added micro beads from a previous
kit and some gems also from a previous kit.
I
love that the title was already on the paper! I just added a little
bit of the watered down gesso and some of the mist, a Tim Holtz sticker
from the main kit and a few stars!
Next up is Kathy also using the 'Heirloom' kit and a photo of her mom!
She started by ripping two sides of the top layer of paper from the
Patterned Paper Add On, die cut 3 doilies
using a Prima die and cut them in half to tuck under the top layer then stamped on the edges of the layout with the Blue Fern Studio Stamp that was included in our
Creativity Add On.
The beautiful daggled chipboard are from this month's Scraps of Elegance Kit. She used gesso on all 3 pieces, then applied Lindy's Stamp Gang "Pink Ladies Pink" with a paintbrush then lightly rubbed distress ink with her fingers to give them an aged look, and treated them all differently using pearls, flowers, microbeads, and rhinestones (included in the Creativity Add On).
She created a large flower cluster at the top center of the layout with various flowers in pink from other SOD kits, die cut the leaves and tucked them in, and finally added 3 different colored microbeads on the flowers.
and finally a fabulous layout from Michelle also using the
I LOVE the day of the Dead bride and how perfect the kit is for it!
Here are a few of her wonderful details
Thanks so much for stopping by
