Serenade... The November Scraps of Darkness kit is here!

Yes, it's kit reveal day on the Scraps of Darkness side, and we have some gorgeousness in this one!

The main kit...

We just couldn't resist matching up the gorgeous Blue Fern Studios Sanctuary Collection with the also gorgeous BoBunny Rose Cafe Collection!  And have you seen the fun film sticker rolls from Bo Bunny?  We decided this kit had to have them, along with a little Blue Fern Chipboard, Prima, and so much more!

We think this kit can be taken in so many different directions, grunge, elegant, autumn, summer, and when you throw in our Creativity this month, you can even do a little bit of Christmas crafting:

Add our Color Add On for this month, and oh, what fun you can have getting messy!

And that's not all, of course we have a few other goodies that will go with the Main Kit beautifully, the Embellishment Add On, the Floral add on, the Patterned Paper, Coordinating Paper, and Cardstock add ons:

If you'd like to see the components of the kit and each add on, please stop by our store.

Bon Appetit kit project from Lisa....

Good Friday Morning!

I hope you are all safe and warm amidst this awful storm that hit the Eastern States.

Today I get to share another gorgeous layout from Lisa using the
Scraps Of Darkness 'Bon Appetit' kit

It is so eerily beautiful!

She used a cardstock background and splatter with Lumiere and Texture Mist. She included cardboard in the corners and tucked beneath her layers. We received Dylusions in our kits and she painted the cardboard with it in the red tone. She used some Lumiere and Lindys embossing powder on the wooden gate which she broke apart and layered within her page.

see the gate pieces?  Very cool!

She added a Prima metal clock but the gears were in the kit. She used Lumiere and some other paints to give the clock and gears texture and interest

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Renea's gorgeous Sweet Sentiments kit projects!

Good morning everyone!
Today I get to share a couple of stunning creations from Renea!

First I am going to share a Vintage look Pocket Journal
that she created using the Scraps Of Elegance November Kit~ Sweet Sentiments

She cut down some of the kit paper and formed a large 6 x 8 pocket
then added the lace and elements and the vintage photo!

Here are some more of the beautiful details

Next up is a stunning layout she created featuring a photo of her Nephew Zachary when he was little, kissing Draven's check while he was sleeping in his carrier......

This kit has some really gorgeous papers in it and she used a bottom layer piece then took a 2nd layer and distressed it then punched it randomly with a note book punch and then tore pieces of some stash music note tissue tape and applied it to the edges.  She then did some random painting  and stippling and then went over it randomly with some paint from her stash.

then layered in more paper that she distressed and punched and fussy cut some pieces from some of the paper and then layered her photo onto the top.

She fussy cut the clock and flower piece from the papers and layered it over the edge of the photo with foam tape for lots of dimension. She then added on some flowers, and some past kit flowers that she texture painted. She tucked in some twine bows made from the twine that was in this month's Embellishment add on and tucked it and cheesecloth into the flowers.

She added more flowers, including the large yellow one that was from this month's Floral Add On, and tucked in more twine, cheesecloth and a Prima piece from  her stash. The title was created by winding more of the twine around the brads in the kit and then tucking a fussy cut from the paper sentiment into the twine wraps.

The Moths with the light bulb bodies were created by taking a Stamp And Add Moth Wings Stamp, and stamping the Tim Holtz Frosted Sheets from the Embellishment Add On using Stayz On Ink, fussy cutting them out,  and then apply the metal bulb from the stamp set onto the wings and attatching them to the layout with foam tape for dimension.

Beautiful altered masks by Lynne

Well it happened again....Monday came back lol!
Only this time it brought snow!

I am going to share a couple of wonderful masks created by Lynne to decorate her
new scrap room!

She used papers and embellishments from the November Scraps of Elegance kit, "Sweet Sentiments"  to create them.

She painted the pieces with acrylic paint then brushed them lightly with white glitter paint. The flowers were fussy cut from one of the lovely papers in the kit.

The fussy-cut dangles from  one of the gorgeous Blue Fern Studios papers were finished with Glossy accents to add strength and a metallic look.

Last month she created a beautiful victorian looking shelf - this month these fabulous masks,
her scrapbook room is going to be wonderful!

2 beautifully different looks from one kit: Projects by Drycha!

As we previously announced, we invited Drycha back to guest design with our October kit (I just couldn't imagine the Halloween kit without Drycha!), and were so happy she said yes!

Drycha's first two projects with the "Bon Appetit" kit are both amazing, and so strikingly different - she really shows off the versatility of our kits with these layouts!

We had a bit of a zombie theme going with this kit (I couldn't resist including Moxxie's Zombie Apocalypse collection when I was putting the kit together!), and Drycha had the perfect photo for it - it's a photo of her, last Halloween.  You know I love a good horror layout, and I can't tell you how much I love this one - you just can't have a zombie layout without the "blood" (Dylusions Postbox Red mist from the kit)!

And from a wonderfully fun, bloody zombie layout, to Drycha's next layout (yes, both were done with the same kit!).  Drycha's layout of Virginia Woolf is beautiful, elegant, and so striking!

I just love both of these, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Drycha comes up with next!
