Mixed Media Monday!

This week for our Mixed Media Monday post we have some stunning creations from our newest design team members!

First up is Denisa Gryczova with this amazing layout she created using the Scraps Of Darkness kit

next we have this amazing canvas from Annie using the

Scraps Of Elegance kit

'Adore'

Annie wanted to make a Mixed Media canvas with Fushia and Purple. She started by applying a coat of Gesso, when it was dry, she used the stencil included in the kit (The Crafter's Workshop: Gabrielle Pollacco 6x6 Tuscan Sun Stencil) and she used heavy gesso because she wanted a thicker texture.

Then sprinkled some Prima Microbeads (Finnabair Blush) from the Elements Add On on the wet Gesso.  She did not like the result so she took a spatula and wiped the beads just a little to mix them with the Gesso.

When it was dry she did a photo transfer on the canvas.  She used powder from her stash to create the colours and drips.  She stamped, added some flowers and finished it off with Embellishments from the kit (Prima: Royal Menagerie Chipboard/Metal/Sequins,  Royal Menagerie Elizabeth Flowers).
