Mixed Media Monday!

Good Morning and welcome to
another Mixed Media Monday!

I am excited to share three stunning projects from some of
our uber talented design team!

First is Anna with this amazing layout
created with November Scraps Of Elegance kit 'Tracey's Country Kitchen'

Anna used the Bo Bunny 'Provence C'est Chic' paper, the BoBunny Misc Me Journaling Cards, the BoBunny brads, the Fabscraps Chipboard 'Filigree Sign', the sunflowers from Fabscraps 'Tea Lovers' paper from the main kit.
The white Prima 'Plumeria' trim is from the elements add on

Next we have this exquisite layout from Lisa Griffith
also using the November Scraps Of Elegance kit

She started with the BoBunny paper 'Provence Toile', and then created some layers with some scraps of old book paper from her stash.  For the chipboard piece that came with the kit, she used the Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder that came with the Elements Kit Add On called Midnight Gold, and some chunky gold embossing powder on top, and then cut it up into different pieces.
She also used the BoBunnyMisc Me journalling cards, the Prima flowers from the Floral Add On that she covered in 'Vintage Photo' brown ink, and the BoBunny brads also from the elements add on.

and finally I have this superb layout from Wilma
using the Scraps Of Darkness November Kit

She started by stamping with
the leaves stampset in the main kit,
then embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Then she used the distress spray from the color add on with a brush.

She used the Tim Holtz distress pad in 4 ways
1. Diluted with water as a watercolor in the background
2. she rubbed with the pad around the edges .
3. The whole pad and used it  as a stamp.
4. and colored the Blue Fern Studios title with it .

To achieve the look she wanted she first wet the title and than rubbed the stamp over it so some parts were light and some parts were darker.

Also in the kit, is a package of beautiful hempcord in four colors.
that she cut little pieces for texture and a loose autumn feeling.

December SOD kit premiere!

Good morning!  I'll assume since you're here you survived yesterday's Black Friday shopping.
And today, we have more excitement, it's the reveal of our December Scraps of Darkness kit:

The kit is named after Wilma Voermans, who designs beautiful layouts with our kits each month to inspire you, and we've called it 'Wilma's Winter Wishes'. And yes, we've paired TWO of BoBunny's gorgeous winter collections up for this one!  We matched up the rustic Sleigh Ride collection with that gorgeous collection full of glittered papers - Whiteout, added BoBunny's gogeous laser cut chipboard snowflakes, Petaloo's beautiful textured flowers, a little bling by Kaisercraft, Maya Road's vintage inspired snowflake charms, some fabulous rusty tin stars, and more.  It's the perfect kit for all the winter memories you've made, and all the ones you are about to make...

We've also got some beautiful 'Add Ons' to accompany this kit, because we know you can never have too much scrappy goodness, and they give you so many more options when you're creating with the kit.

Our Patterned Paper Add On is an extra set of the 10 papers that are included in the main kit:

Our Coordinating Paper Add On is 2 sheets each of 5 different patterned papers that are not included in the main kit, but will work beautifully with it:

Our Elements Add On gives you more embellishing options:

Our Color Add On includes mediums that allow you to customize your projects with color:

Our Floral Add On - well, lets face it, who doesn't want more flowers?

Our Mixed Media Creativity Add On includes mediums and/or off the page projects:

And last, but not least, we have a Cardstock Add on - 3 colors (2 sheets of each) of My Colors 80lb solid color card stock:

Thank you for stopping by to see our newest kit, and I hope the rest of your weekend is beautiful...

Fall inspiration with Laura & Michelle

Good morning!
I am excited to bring you some weekend inspiration!

I have a fun layout I did using the November Scraps Of Darkness Kit 'Amy's Amazing Autumn'

For this layout celebrating fall I used the wonderful BoBunny November sketch

I love this photo of Cody jumping in.  They worked for hours trying to get a big enough leaf pile lol!
I used the banner from the chipboard stickers that is in the elements add on
I fussy cut some leaves from a couple of the papers, stamped a few using the BoBunny stamps from the main kit
and the embossing powder from a previous kit, and added a few of the Petaloo leaves for texture from the Floral Add On
I fussy cut a bunch of butterflies from one of the BoBunny papers and inked the edges of them along with the leaves using the Tim Holtz Ground Espresso Distress Ink from the Color Add On
Here you can see the dimension the butterflies add!
Next up we have Michelle with two wonderful autumn/animal
themed layouts

Thanks for stopping by!

Works Of Art Mixed Media and Shabby Chic Tags

Hello everyone!
Today I want to share a couple of stunning tag projects

Lisa Novogrodski created two sensational tags using our Scraps Of Darkness kit 'Amy's Amazing Autumn'. She started with the BoBunny Enchanted Harvest paper, then used some crackle paste in the background, thinking it would add an old world feel to the tag. Once it dried she painted over it with the Cinnamon Brown Silks Acrylic Glaze found in the Color Add On.

She also used some Gold Lumiere Paint and the splatters in the background were created with Lumiere in Pearl Emerald found in our Creativity Add On

The BoBunny chipboard butterfly is found in the Elements Add On

She used a hand-dyed seam binding bow and sewed on the key. These are Prima Metal Patina Trinkets found in the Elements Add On.

The florals are Prima Timeless Memories Retrospect, Marion Smith Time Keeper, and Petaloo Botanica Fall Leaves found in the Floral Add On.

The back of the tag is stained with Distress Inks. We received the Ground Expresso in the Color Add On  and Forest Moss in the Main Kit.

Lisa used the same techniques on this tag.

More florals and she mixed in some Hemp Cord found in the Main Kit. We received a pack of Crafters Hemp Cord in Harvest. She unraveled it and then tucked it in between the flowers.

She also used some florals from previous kits.

Next I am going to share a wonderful shabby chic pocket journal with tags, created by Renea, using the Scraps Of Elegance kit 'Tracey's Country Kitchen'.

Renea formed a 6x9 tall pocket using the kit papers then began layering more kit papers, fussy cut elements and the BoBunny Provence journaling cards that are in the main kit.

She created a super cute bow using the twine from the kit and added a BoBunny brad, also from the main kit.

She used the Petaloo sunflower from the main kit
and some flowers from previous kits.

She fussy cut the word 'cozy' from the one of the kit papers.

Here are all the wonderful tags that were tucked in.

Thanks for stopping by!
