Good morning!
In the Scraps of Elegance 'Belle Journee' kit
are Blue Fern Studios Laser-cut chipboard Vintage Keys.
They are really wonderful!
Check out what three of our talented design team created using them!
Lisa created this amazing layout....
She did some masking in the background with heavy white gesso, and also some of the Prima black gesso, then used some Lindy's mists and added layers using the BoBunny papers from the kit, some ribbon, lace, thread and lots of flowers.
Now for the keys...Lisa really loved them and decided to make them a focal point of her design
She altered them by embossing them all with some copper and gold Stampendous embossing powders that came in a previous kit and then rubbed around the edges with some of the Prima
black gesso that came in the Creativity Add-on just to give it a
dramatic aged look. At the end she sprinkled
on some Prima gold mica powder to tie everything together with the gold in her photo.
She added lots of the US ArtQuest Prills in 'Minnie Pearls'
She also used the Prima Salvage District mint green flowers called 'Palais Royal', and a piece from the Prima Relics and Artifacts 'Tangerine Berry' Flowers both from the Flower Add on and one of the Prima French Riviera 'Marseilles' white flowers from the main kit.
Our next project is a couple of tags from Anna!
The key is the perfect accent!
Our final wonderful project today is from Nicole....
Nicole embossed her key in fuscia
One of the product that was included in the kit is these hexagon epoxy
stickers. She stuck them on some of the BoBunny papers and cut around
them.
She added some stitched hexagon patterns on my background as well as some smaller ones with a stencil and white paint.
Thanks for stopping by!
