Good morning!
Today we are continuing with projects that are beachy!!!!
We are hoping to inspire you to scrapbook those awesome beach/water photos!
from Scraps Of Darkness.
I have this photo of Ty at the beach that I just love...
he looks like he is contemplating something big...
In the kit is these awesome papers from
Blue Fern - the tranquility papers....and one of them reminds me of a
washed out beach day...
I used Blue Fern Studio's June sketch
I used the little cut off from the ends
of the papers for my banner strips, some flowers from previous kits and
my stash and few shells also from my stash
The Blue Fern Studios chipboard was in the main kit and
elements add on. I painted them with the Prima Finnabair Art Alchemy Opal Magic Pink Blue Acrylic Paint which has a beautiful pearly shine to it from the color add on, them embossed in areas with the WOW! Pastel Blue Embossing Powder from the main kit.
I used a Crafters Workshop stencil from my stash with the
Prima Finnabair Art Alchemy Opal Magic Pink Blue Acrylic Paint that I mixed with glass bead glitter gel.

I also did some splattering with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists from previous kits!
I LOVE it when the color combination that I use creates drama!
In the Scraps Of Darkness 'Soulshine' kit is the Prima Salvage District papers - they are so yummy and lend themselves well to added pop of color!
I really wanted to use the turquoise blue in this layout to accent the beautiful blue water in the photo.
I used some Lindy's Stamp Gang turquoise mist from a previous kit and The Brush Crystal Colors in Turquoise
from the store to color the cheese cloth. I used the gorgeous Prima
flowers from the main kit and a few from my stash....and I added some of
the Prima
Ephemera also from the main kit.
Ephemera also from the main kit.
I had this title in my stash and I
painted it in Shimmerz Dazzlerz Gummy Berry Blue from a previous kit,
then added the brusho turquoise powder....looks like water!
The final layout for today reminds us that its not just people that like the beach. Michelle's layout shows us that sometimes the beach is for the birds!!!
I love all the elements she used and wonderful photo!
Thanks for stopping by!
