Good morning!
every family is different and scrapbooking the family photos is reflective of the family moment! Sweet sometimes, wild sometimes, loving and caring always. We scrapbook those to remember that moment.
Sometimes we will scrapbook a family moment in non traditional colors like Tatiana did in this amazing Christmas layout she created with the Scraps Of Darkness 'Soulshine' kit
She used splashes of black and white Tsukineko texture mist, crystal topping, micro bears, mica flakes, glitter and sequins
She die cut branches from silver cardstock, some elements are
covered with two layers of silver embossing powder.
Blue Fern Studios chipboard is covered with silver embossing powder.
Next is Nicole using the Scraps Of Elegance 'Belle Journee' kit and a sweet photo of her nieces.
There are some darling little gold clips in the kit that she used to adorn her page. She added embossing powder to the chipboard to bring in some more golden touches.
This big beautiful lace and tulle flower is from Prima and is included in the Floral add-on.
and finally I am sharing a layout I created with a photo of my husband and our youngest son at his grade 8 graduation using the Scraps Of Darkness 'Soulshine' kit...
The photo was full of bright distracting
colors so I desaturated the photo so it was more about the subject
father and son than the bright colors
I created the cluster by first using
molding paste with a ledger stencil from a previous kit, then sprinkling
it with Lindy's Stamp gang Midnight Brown embossing powder also from a
previous kit. I then added some flowers from the main kit and floral add on and a few from previous kits.
I then added some US Artquest Gilt Trip Prills and Prima brads both from the elements add on.
To color the doily I misted them
with Lindy's Stamp Gang Silhouette Silver moon shadow mist and Black
Orchid Silver Starbust mist - also from previous kits.
The main kit as Momenta 6x8 Adhesive Stencils: Beautiful Words that I used with some black modeling paste for the title.
I painted the Blue Fern Studios Turkish Bits with Ken Oliver Crafts Pewter Liquid Metals from the Color Add on
I love lots of dimension to my layouts!
Thanks for stopping by
