Good Morning and welcome to
another Mixed Media Monday!
I am excited to share three stunning projects from some of
our uber talented design team!
First is Anna with this amazing layout
created with November Scraps Of Elegance kit 'Tracey's Country Kitchen'
Anna used the Bo Bunny 'Provence C'est Chic' paper, the BoBunny
Misc Me Journaling Cards, the
BoBunny brads, the Fabscraps Chipboard 'Filigree Sign', the sunflowers
from Fabscraps 'Tea Lovers' paper from the main kit.
The white Prima 'Plumeria' trim is from the elements add on
Next we have this exquisite layout from Lisa Griffith
also using the November Scraps Of Elegance kit
She started with the BoBunny paper 'Provence Toile', and then created some layers with some scraps of old book paper from her stash. For the chipboard piece that came with the kit, she used the Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder that came with the Elements Kit Add On called Midnight Gold, and some chunky gold embossing powder on top, and then cut it up into different pieces.
She also used the BoBunnyMisc Me journalling cards, the Prima flowers from the Floral Add On that she covered in 'Vintage Photo' brown ink, and the BoBunny brads also from the elements add on.
and finally I have this superb layout from Wilma
using the Scraps Of Darkness November Kit
She started by stamping with
the leaves stampset in the main kit,
then embossed it with clear embossing powder.
Then she used the distress spray from the color add on with a brush.
She used the Tim Holtz distress pad in 4 ways
1. Diluted with water as a watercolor in the background
2. she rubbed with the pad around the edges .
3. The whole pad and used it as a stamp.
4. and colored the Blue Fern Studios title with it .
To achieve the look she wanted she first wet the title and than rubbed the stamp over it so some parts were light and some parts were darker.
Also in the kit, is a package of beautiful hempcord in four colors.
that she cut little pieces for texture and a loose autumn feeling.
