BOO-tiful Creations

Good morning!
Today I am sharing some BOO-tiful creations from our frightingly talented
Scraps Of Darkness Design team - just in time for Halloween!

I have got a creepy one to share.....

I don't know about you but killer clowns are crazy scary!

I used the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities papers and did some water distressing. I also used a stencil and some molding paste, sprayed with the three mists from the color add on and main kit - Jazzy Jivin' Purple, Go Greased Lightnin', and Sidewalk Chalk
the flowers are from the floral add on that I splattered with the three mists!
I added one of the G45 chipboard pieces for their names & date
I used a title piece from last years Halloween kit that I splattered with the Sidewalk Chalk mist.

I had a lot of fun with the Blue Fern Studios Chipboard Ironwork Edge from the Elements add on
I inked it first with Tim Holtz forest moss distress ink from a previous kit, then I used my embossing pad randomly in spots and added the Olive Stampendous Vintage Embossing Tinsel from the color add on and heat set it.  I then used the embossing pad randomly again and used the Aged Black Stampendous Embossing Enamel.  I think it looks cool!
The stamp is too cute!  The 'little frog' is from the main kit and I used the embossing tinsel on it!

next up is this spookily delicious creation from Lisa N.
She started by using a cardboard base. She first painted on some clear gesso to the cardboard then misted with Lindys Flat Fabio in Greased Lightnin Green and Lindys Starburst in Dark Chocolate Truffle. She heat dried then painted on Lumiere in Gold. The "Greased Lightnin" was included in the color add on for the kit you can find it ---- here
The background papers are Graphic 45 - "Rare Oddities" and "Cabinet of Curiosities"
She used what you would consider the B side of each. She punched the edges and inked them then bent them in gently for a distressed look.

We always receive a gorgeous selection of flowers in our floral add on ---- take a peek ---- Here
The very large purple flower is from her stash and most likely got it in a Scraps of Darkness kit awhile back. She wanted a pop of color and to match it up to her daughters pink costume in the photo.
The beautiful purple florals and subtle light brown florals were in the kit.
They are Petaloo Botanica Velvet Hydrangeas - Violet and Prima Engraver Light Brown

She used clear gesso on the background paper then misted with Lindys Cafe Au Lait. She used a stencil and paste then sprayed with water and misted in Lindys Tea Pot Purple.

The additional florals were in past kits.

We received some beautiful chipboard from Blue Fern Studios as well. This piece is the Ironwork Edge found in our Elements Add On --- HERE.  She first painted the chipboard in Gold Lumiere and then embossed with Stampendous Spoonful of Rust found in our Creativity Add On --- HERE. She also used Stampendous Encrusted Jewels in Purple. Her favorite embossing powders and Melinda sells them in the store ---- HERE

And finally we have a spine chiller from Kathy!

She started with the background paper using the Authentique "Moonlit" paper included in the Coordinating Paper add on.  She misted the bottom of the paper with Lindy's Stamp Gang's "Jazzy Jivin Purple" mist which is included in the Main Kit.  She misted the top with Lindy's "Mango Mania" which she got in a previous kit.  Then used one of the new stencils by Gabrielle Pollacco across the top of the lo and Prima's Chalk Fluid in black.  Then stamped the background and splattered black ink.
We got this really cool chipboard from Blue Fern in the Elements Add On, which she covered in the Black Glass Glitter also included in the Elements Add On.

She used the Stampendous "Aged Black Embossing Enamel" that came in the Color Add On upon some chipboard from her stash.

In the Pattern Paper Add On is a really cool G45 paper with owls all over it.  She fussy cut one of the owls, applied the black glitter with gel medium, and added two jewels for the eyes.

She double matted the photos and determined where she wanted them to go on the layout.  Before gluing them down she cut pieces of cheesecloth to go under the photos.  She used these adorable orange and black flowers from the Floral Add On and sprinkled some microbeads and glitter on them to get some shine.

She used another little chipboard piece from the G45 "Rare Oddities" collection that was included in the Main Kit.  Then sprinkled the black and some orange glitter in various places around the lo and then added a few little jewels for more bling.

Thanks for stopping by!
