More than layouts.....

Good morning!
Another Monday is here.....

To make your day a little brighter I am sharing a couple of OTP projects!

Over at the Scraps Of Darkness/ Scraps Of Elegance Facebook Community, Renea hosts a bi-monthly ATC swap, and right now we are nearing the end of the March-April Swap, and in a couple of weeks she will be putting up the May-June Sign Ups, so we hope you will join us!!
She actually took 2 partners this month and first up she has an ATC that she created for her swap partner, Rhue Chantal. She created it with the Scraps Of Elegance March Kit~Anna's Day Dream.

She sewed her paper layers and little distressed heart together. Added lots of texture with inked chipboard, layers of trim, cheesecloth, feathers and seed beads.

Here you can see all the layering in that she did and inking that just add so much depth to these really small pieces.
This next ATC was created for her Swap Partner Debbie Cook. She created it from the same kit, using some of the same type of elements and colors.

She did edge sewing, torn corner layers, a tulle dress for her Prima Resin Corset, layered in trim, feathers and seed beads for lots of texture,

Here you can see all the textures and layers.

Next up we have a beautiful altered cell phone box from Tracey Gregory- created with our March "Michelle's Mechanical Madness" kit.

She says she always keep the boxes, not sure why, but upon cleaning out her closet found quite a few of them. Since they are so sturdy she decided to re purposed one into a fun little gift box.

She loves the metal pieces in the kit and combined some to add a quasi-steampunk flavor. The laces on the edge are positioned above and below the box seams so it can still be opened and closed.

Lots of fun tags included that she distressed and layered. The top is blank until she decides who the recipient will be.

Thanks for stopping by!
