Video Tutorial: DIY Shaker Christmas Cards

Only 5 days until Christmas!
If you're running a little behind, and still need to get one or two more Christmas cards done, we've got the perfect tutorial for you today.

Tanya created both of these gorgeous Christmas cards with the BoBunny Winter Wishes collection included in our November "Snow Angels" kit, and we've got a tutorial showing you how she made the shakers for them (out of the chipboard packaging that was in the kit!), as well as the finished cards:

Our Snow Angels kit is sold out, but we do still have the papers Tanya used available in our store.

And here are a few more photos of these beautiful winter themed holiday cards:

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a beautiful day today!

DIY Shabby Chic Mixed Media Christmas Ornaments Tutorial

We have another wonderful Christmas decor tutorial today!  Yesterday it was Tanya's altered metal Christmas Star, and today it's Tatiana's beautiful pink, light blue, and lavender Christmas Balls:

Here's what Tatiana said about these beautiful ornaments:

Last time I created Christmas balls three years ago and this year I decided to create something for my kitchen decoration. I used plastic balls d 8 cm. For this project I used products from Scraps of Darkness November kit 'Snow Angels'.

Believe me, all shines, especially in the evening light :), but it's so hard to capture all the details on photo.

Here you can see details with layer of craquelur paste:

For my dear readers I created video tutorial, you can find there step by step instructions on creating lilac ball. Process is not too hard but time consuming because you should wait until all the layers dry. So it's better to create several balls at the same time.

  I used:

From the Main kit
BoBunny Laser cut chipboard Snowflakes
Simply Creative 3mm Pink & Blue Self-Adhesive Gems
Uchida Snow Marker
white eyelash trim

From the Elements Add-On

Petaloo Blue Snowflake Picks
Petaloo DIY Tea-stained Butterflies
Prima Silver Cloud Glittered Leaves with Berries

We hope we've inspired you to craft your own holiday decor, and please be sure to stop back tomorrow, when we will announce who will be on our 2017 Design Team!
