Mixed Media Monday

Good morning!
Today I have some stunning projects to share with you!

First up we have  Anna with remarkable blue toned layout
using our November Scraps Of Elegance kit

Anna used the BoBunny paper 'Breathtaking' for her background paper and to create two beautiful flowers!

She used some gold elements ~ the BoBunny Filagree Copper Foil Transfers Rub Ons, the Prima Lace Trim Plumeria  both from the elements add on, Bo Bunny Misc Me Journaling Cards, Maya Road Twine and brads ~ from the main kit and burlap flowers from the floral add on.

She created the stars with a gel medium, stencil and the embossing powder from the elements add on

Next I wanted to share a spectacular layout from Stephanie also using the November Scraps Of Elegance kit

Stephanie started with a one of the Bo Bunny papers as her base then added many of the BoBunny journaling cards (also from the main kit) for the collage look.

She used many different liquid inks, and the Bodaceious Blush Starburst Mist from Lindy's stamp gang from our color add on
She also used the Copper Inka Gold from also from the color add on to transform her white flowers and complete her background.  She had mixed a bit of the paint with some water.

She used the unaltered paint on her chipboard using her finger

Stephanie loved the BoBunny foil transfers from the elements add on

Lynne's Heritage layout!

Good morning!
Today I am sharing a beautiful heritage layout from Lynne
using the Scraps Of Elegance November kit 'Tracey's Country Kitchen'

The lovely lady in the photo is Lynne's great great grandmother.
I love how scrapbooking connects us to our roots.

Lynne fussy cut the frames from the paper and inked the edges along with the edges of the flowers.  She also used the the Lindy's Stamp Gang Two Toned Embossing Powder in Midnight Gold Obsidian from the elements add on in the flower centers.  The lace (also from the elements add on) was coffee dyed!

Lynne also fussy cut a few clocks and some flowers.

More Autumn fun with Kathy

Good morning!
Today I have a beautiful fall layout from Kathy
using the Scraps Of Darkness November

She fussy cut the BoBunny Enchanted Harvest 'Foliage' paper, then layered it over the Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice 'Falling Leaves' paper.  She prepped the paper with gel medium, then stenciled a grid pattern to the background, then stamped around where the images would go.She used stickles on some fussy cut leaves then glued them down along each edge to make it look like the center was blending with the outer edges.

She used a leftover strip (green/white) check from the Simple Stories paper, ticket stickers, and pumpkin colored paper which she punched on the left side under the photo mat.  She matted the photo twice with other BoBunny papers from the kit.  The horizontal strip of gold paper was another scrap from the kit that she punched on each side, then used another sticker from the Main Kit on top of it.

She used the Cinnamon Brown Silks acrylic glaze included in the Color Add-on on a piece of chipboard from her stash. she used the Lindy’s Stamp Gang embossing powder (from last month’s Scraps of Elegance kit) on the flourish from her stash, and on the chipboard little leaves she used Tim Holtz’s Distress Crackle Paint “Spiced Marmalade” from a previous SOD kit.

She also used Stickles to add some bling on a fussy cut butterfly

Tracey's wonderful Christmas altered tray!

Good morning!
Today I have a stunning project from Tracey Gregory to share with you today using the Scraps Of Darkness November kit

Isn't is beautiful?

Puts you in the holiday spirit right?

To create this festive center piece she first painted the tray from the creativity found here with the Cinnamon Brown Silks Acrylic Glaze from the Color add on found here, then applied crackle medium.  Once dry she stamped with a script stamp she then rubbed in the Silks Acrylic Glaze in Persimmon, also from the creativity add on, but available in our store, too. The white resin leaves from the Elements Add On were colored with the green Tim Holtz ink from the main kit. The flowers were all from the kit except one white Prima rose. She glued the votives onto the tray and used a mixture of Epsom salt and glitter to look like pretty snow.  It will so pretty as a table piece, or maybe a gift for a hostess who is throwing a holiday party.

Here are the beautiful details:
