Our January kit is finally here, and it was worth the wait!

A fun and exciting announcement for 2013!

We are so excited to announce that we are going to be a permanent sponsor at Once Upon A Sketch for the year of 2013!

Each month for the coming year, we will donate our Main Kit to one lucky participant in the Once Upon A Sketch challenges, so you will want to be sure to stop by and participate in their challenges for a chance to win!

If you haven't heard about Once Upon A Sketch, you have been missing out on some fun and inspirational challenges... here's a little bit about this awesome blog started by Nadia Cannizzo:

Do you find you are not including as much journalling on your projects as you used to? Are you the type that needs to include journalling on ALL your projects? Maybe you are not sure on what to write about and just leave it out. Whatever your story, we hope that here at Once Upon A...Sketch we encourage you and inspire you to journal more on your projects.

We are an international sketch challenge blog and encourage everyone from all parts of the world to take part in our MONTHLY sketch challenges.

We have an international Design Team that will create a LAYOUT based on that month's sketch and criteria which will hopefully give you the push you need. 

On the 1st of every month, we will release a brand new sketch accompanied with some journaling criteria which you will have 1 month to complete. We ask you to upload your project to your blog or online gallery and and  link us with it using the Link tool which will be at the bottom of the challenge post . You will know how long you have left because there will be a timer at the bottom of the Link tool. We ask you to please link us DIRECTLY back to your post that includes that month's challenge.
At the end of each challenge, the Design Team will vote on their favourite projects.
The winning entry will get the chance to come back as a Guest Designer for Once Upon A ...Sketch the following month and  design together with the rest of the Design Team while the Top 5 layouts, as voted by the Design Team, will be featured on our blog banner!

The winners and Top 5 featured projects will be announced soon after the challenge finishes.

Glue Gun Effects Tutorial by Vivian Keh

Today, we have an awesome new technique tutorial by Vivian Keh.  Vivian used our December Color Add On to create an amazing cool background for this layout:

And even better, it's a video tutorial (Don't ya just love those video tutorials?  They are my favorite, for sure!).
