July Guest Designer!

I'm so excited, we have an amazing artist guest designing for us in July!

This talented lady needs no introduction, but on the off chance you haven't already seen her gorgeous work... please meet Gerry van Gent!

My name is Gerry van Gent and I`m a 38 Bulgarian woman living in The Netherlands.  I`m a mom of two kids and a wife of a very supportive hubby. I`m lucky to be able to stay at home and have plenty of time to spend with my kids and of course I have plenty of time for my hobbies - scrapbooking and photography.

I got involved into paper crafting when my first child was born and I `m completely hooked. Love creating my own backgrounds, stamping, playing with paint, fussy cutting and hand-stitching on my work.

I currently design for Webster`s Pages, Prima Marketing, Glitz Design and Imaginarium Designs. I`m also contributor for Sizzix Europe and a Dutch scrapbooking magazine!

MAY SKETCH CHALLENGE WINNER

Hi Sisters, with our gorgeous White rabbit kit running a little late, we have held off showing you our sketch winner for May, so you can revel in the gorgeous June kit.
But now its time to show you our May Summer breeze Sketch challenge winner.
Sue, has created a gorgeous layout showcacing the gorgeous kit papers and embellies with a darling photo to boot! The flower placement is stunning and that adorable face is to cute! Lovely tear work and doodling!
This is an awesome piece of Art Sue and well done for being our Sketch winner!

JUNE LAYOUT OF THE MONTH

Hello Scraps of Darkness fans and sisters, Id like to annouce and share with you the Layout of the month winner for June.....
Lily Fiore, our Dark sister has created a gorgeous layout using the June Country charm kit....
its called "against all odds".....It showcases a gorgeous punchwork backing and butterflies and darling photo!
The lace and flowers are just the right touch to catch your eye!!!!!!

Tim Holtz Marker Tutoral

The weekend is coming to a close, I hope you were all able to get a little scrappy time in (I know I managed to squeeze a little bit in - such a nice break from everyday life!)

Anyway, Renea Harrison has done a wonderful new video tutorial on coloring stamped images with Tim Holtz Markers.

Big Announcement!

Our very own Drycha has started her own stamp company! 

The name of this fabulous new company is 3rd Eye, and to kick things off, they are having a nice giveaway!

The June Kit is here!

Ever heard the song White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane (I love that song - am I giving away my age? lol)?  Well, when I saw the fabulous Wonderland papers by 7 Dots Studio and Anna Dabrowska, that song immediately came to mind!  And with that, I am thrilled to present our June kit, White Rabbit:

We've matched those wonderful Wonderland papers with the oh-so-gorgeous Weekend Market line from Bo Bunny, and added a little bit of the fun Genuine line by Authentique, and added a ton of fun embellishments!  Stop by our website to see the full kit and available add ons.
