September Kit Reveal!

It's Reveal Day!  This month's kit just screams "masculine" and "steampunk"!

 

 

 

The kit is named My guy, and is full of Prima Craftsman, Kaisercraft Sears & Son, and lots of fun embellishments to play with!

 

This month, I thought I'd share the kit add ons, as well, so here they are...

We had a late shipment this month, so our Design Team received their kits a little late and didn't have a lot of time to create their always inspiring projects, but I've got a couple to share with you...

Meet our September Guest Designer

I'm sure you've seen her gorgeous work on the Tattered Angels and Helmar Design Teams, and now we'll all get to see her work her magic with a Scraps of Darkness kit!

I’ve been involved with creating various forms of art for DECADES. My professional training is in Clothing & Textiles and I have been a Family & Consumer Science educator for DECADES. I retired this June 2012. I have been involved with fabric arts, collage, mixed media, art journaling and paper arts as an instructor and business owner. I started scrapbooking in 1995 but became bored with it fast…at that time it was too basic. I never really gave it up but found a very strong desire to re-visit this medium in 2005…I found that everything had changed and I found myself right back into it. I love working in all mediums! I rely heavily on blogs, online classes & tutorials, FB and other social platforms to learn and keep up with the new products and techniques. This results from living in a rural are without a LSS…gasp! This is my 2^nd term on the Tattered Angels design Team and also HELMAR Adhesives Design Team.

Jamaican Sunset - our August kit reveal!

Let me tell you, the second I saw The Scrap Cake's Summer City collection, the first thing I though of was a sunset on the beach, and where better than beautiful Jamaica?!?  And so the name of our August kit...

We've got bright beautiful summer colors for you in this kit, with papers from The Scrap Cake's Summer City line and My Mind's Eye's Indie Chic collection.  You'll also find the most trendy thing going now... a Chevron mask from Studio Calico and Lindy's new Flat Fabio Mist to go with it.  And have you heard of Flourish With a Bling from Australia?  Well we've got a fun Jasmine Laser Flourish included, as well as embellishments from Prima, Webster's Pages, The Scrap Cake, and My Mind's Eye.

Mixed Media is the name of the game this month, we've got a brand new add on called the Creativity Add On.  Each month we'll give you fun things to help you get a little more creative with your layouts and altered items.  Here's what we have this month:
